Education Policy and Data Center (EPDC)
Funder: USAID The Education Policy and Data Center (EPDC) serves as a unique and easily accessible source for recent and comprehensive education statistics and analysis as well as training and networking opportunities - all designed to help education professionals develop more effective programs. EPDC increases the breadth and depth of information easily accessible to researchers and practitioners in international education. EPDC initially will focus on 20 countries, expanding to 50 countries in five years, and eventually, to all developing countries. EPDC’s website includes links to detailed sub-national education statistics. Currently, the project is preparing three working papers and three policy briefs. The project is also setting up an international network of experts to provide data for the Center.
